can`t install my imon pad remote controller

Hello team,
I`m trying to install my imon pad remote controller and no success.
Believe me i tried everything - manual installing, with the cd and with a variety of versions and...nothing.
the red light in the IR receiver blink when i press the buttons but no response to any of the buttons on the remote - not the power, the numeric ones (with notepad) neither anything else.
I`ve attached a screenshot of my device manager, shows the yello mark next to the "SG control remote device" and it`s properties

In addition, after installing the Imon manager, it notifies me that the "the setting for the MCE remote is existing, do you want to use the old settings?" - It doesn`t matter what my reply is, after installation the "MCE REMOTE" in the remote controller section is greyed and unchangeable.

I`ll appriciate a quick response as i`m already desperate, really tried it all tens of times.

I`m using vista home premium, service pack 1 32bit
with an antec fusion case with no internal ir receiver.
the Imon firmware version is 0xa0

Dear itayk,

From the screenshot you posted, 2 iMON HW are connected to your system. (2 SG control remote device)
“SG control remote device” driver doesn’t support multiple HW.
Please find other iMON HW, remove it and try again.

I don`t have two remotes or other two HW.
don`t know why, but after installing the software and reebooting, somehow it recognises and asks again to install the software. I don`t install it and that`s the reason for those two notifications in the device manager. I`ve attached a screenshot.

It wouldn`t let me change the setting for the Imon pad. What shoukd i do?

Dear itayk,

FW version 0xa0 is an iMON HW for ANTEC Fusion Case and works with MCE remote only.
If you have another iMON HW and want to use it with PAD remote, please open PC case and check if there is an iMON VFD HW connected to the internal USB port. It may be an iMON VFD for ANTEC Fusion Case. Then, remove it from the internal USB port and try again.

This is the only hardware I`m having (a picture of my case is attached). Yes, I have the Imon vfd connected to an internal USB and i want to use it with the Imon-pad-remote-controller, so should i disconnect it? and thus my pad will finally work? But then, how would the VFD work?

Dear itayk,

From your first post, Device Manager is showing 2 SG Remote Control Devices.
So I think you have another iMON HW. I’m sorry for my misunderstanding.
But in order to make it clear, please check all internal and external USB ports.
FW version 0xa0 is an iMON HW for ANTEC Fusion Case and works with MCE remote only.FW version 0xa0 does not work with iMON PAD remote.
If your PAD remote was bundled with ANTEC Fusion Case, please contact with ANTEC and request the replacement.

They are shown only after the installation of the remote. Somehow it installs it twice or something, but if you are saying that my FW works only with MCE remote so i guess that i need to return my remote back. The only problem is that there`s no return policy, so if i still want to stay with it i need to disconnect my VFD and then it`ll work? But then i wouldn`t be able to install properly the imon manager, as it would tell me that the HW is disconnected. Or shouldn`t i install it at all and the remote would still work?
