I have an Antec Fusion Silver that comes with an iMon VFD. The VFD will display garbled text and stop responding to the remote. This will happen when the PC is off or on standby. The only thing that will fix this is to power down the PSU but the problem just comes in a day or so.

I have tried the using Windows XP and Windows 7

* Tried version iMon Manager 7.60, 7.77, 7.84 beta in Windows XP SP3
* Tried version iMon Manager 7.60, 7.77, 7.84 beta in Windows 7
* I have gotten TWO VFD replacements from Antec, problem exists for the original and the two replacements, three VFDs total (it took a lot of convincing to get Antec to send a second VFD)
* I tried TWO different power supply, a Seasonic 430 and an Antec PSU

I have been trying to fix this for thee months and tried very combination of the above I can think of. I am pulling my hair out and I am tempted to purchase the iMon mini OEM. However, I loath to give iMon more money, it's like rewarding someone for bad behavior. Also, I'm not sure the iMon mini OEM will work. It may be a flaw inherent in the hardware design.

I welcome any suggestions. Thank you.

Same case, same error. It's a very frustrating problem and it seems that nobody can help.

By the way, I'm using a Harmony 880 remote.

For me, it's a Harmony 525.

I broke down and bought the Antec 30124 Veris Series Basic Multimedia Station (iMon inside) through Amazon for $24. I'm going to replace the one that came with the Fusion and see if it works. I'll lose the LCD functionality but I don't care if the iMon inside works RELIABLY. I'll know if this works in a couple of days. Regardless, this is the last Soundgraph product I will ever purchase.

I pulled the iMon inside out of the Veris casing and stuck it into the Antec Fusion and so far it hasn't froze on me yet. I lost the LCD and volume knob functionality but I don't have to reset my power supply everyday.
