I've installed the imon vfd in my car as part of my carpc and there's a few things i've noticed.

The main issue i've found has already been reported here in this forum and thats the Graphic Eq in that its very sensative to treble and shows very little bass.
I look forward to a fix for that.

The 2nd thing is the volume, would it be possible at a later date to include single increment volume increase?

Currently the minimum increment is 2.

The 3rd item is the Eq again,
There's an option to set the volume point to switch to the EQ but if you set that point to lets say 10 then the system volume isn't high enough for the eq to actually display anything.

Can it be fixed so that the eq display correctly regardless of actual system volume?

Dear Griff1,
The 2nd thing is the volume, would it be possible at a later date to include single increment volume increase?
Currently the minimum increment is 2.
This will be fixed in next update.

The 3rd item is the Eq again,
There's an option to set the volume point to switch to the EQ but if you set that point to lets say 10 then the system volume isn't high enough for the eq to actually display anything.
I think you’re saying about “EQ Trigger on Level”.
When volume peak level reaches this value, iMON starts to display EQ.
Actually Recording volume, Waveout volume and Master volume affect EQ level.
And iMON has an “EQ peak Level” option for adjusting EQ level in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Graphic Equalizer. Please try to adjust EQ level with these values.

I understand the current working of the EQ and its trigger but lets say i have it set to switch when the volume is at 10, the imon barely picks up the sound to display the eq, i have to turn the volume up to something like 30 before the eq starts to fill the vfd.

In a standard stereo for instance the frequency would be displayed on the eq filling the display regardless of the volume.

I currently control the main volume line and the wave line is up full. When i do a scan to see which line to control it always picks the master line which is almost always between 10 and 30 in normal use.

Thanks for getting back to me on it, i'll test further when the new release comes out.

Lee.

Dear Griff1,

The main issue i've found has already been reported here in this forum and thats the Graphic Eq in that its very sensative to treble and shows very little bass.
I look forward to a fix for that. For this issue, we’ll make new options, “EQ peak Level” for 16 bands that can adjust EQ peak weight individually. Please wait for a while.

The 2nd thing is the volume, would it be possible at a later date to include single increment volume increase?
Currently the minimum increment is 2.This was fixed in the last update.

The 3rd item is the Eq again,
There's an option to set the volume point to switch to the EQ but if you set that point to lets say 10 then the system volume isn't high enough for the eq to actually display anything. .Please try as follows.
1. Set “EQ Trigger on Level” option to “0” in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Auto Mode tab.
2. Set Recording volume, Waveout volume to max
3. Set “EQ peak Level” option to max in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Graphic EQ tab and with playing music in normal volume level, adjust this value.
