Building new machine. WIn 7 64 Bit, AMD Phenom II X4 945, 8G ram, MSI790GX-65, LG WH08LS20 Blu-ray Burner, Corasir HX620 Power Supply in Chieftec HM01B case, Instructions say to install software first then install hardware. That means install win 7 and all other drivers, I-Mon drivers then with power off install I-Mon connections. Is this valid?

Dear Mediabug,
If you think the sequence is annoying, you could install hardware first and then install driver and software. Please refer the following instruction.
There're two different driver types of iMON hardware are used. One uses our own OEM driver while the other uses native HID driver.
If your hardware is former, you will meet the 'New Hardware Found Wizard' and you need to 'Cancel' the wizard. And using installation CD, install iMON driver and software.
If your hardware if later, you no need to worry about install hardware first, because it uses native HID driver which created and supported by Microsoft. It means there's no Found New Hardware Wizard.
Thanks a lot,
