Hi there,

I have a strange problem. I use Windows 7 x64 and have my imon frontview screen (Antec Microfusion 350). The screen displays perfectly in all instances, BUT, when I open Arcsoft TMT3 platinum, the screen displays the last message it displayed within Media Center, Sometimes is actually attempts to display the Graphic Equaliser, but displays nothing (as in silence). Everything else is working perfectly.

I am using Windows 7 x64, AMD Phenom 9950 BE, 8Gb RAM. I am using Windows Media Center remote control and receiver (not using the iMon ir receiver). I am using the M4A785G HTPC mainboard. Any advice would be fantastic.

Dear baxterch,

When TMT3 plug-in is playing media in Media Center, it doesn’t send any information about the playback. iMON can receive the information only while Media Center is playing media file. Regret to say, currenty there is no way to display information while TMT3 plug-in is playing media.

Hi,

I'm also using Arcsoft Total Media Theatre 3 for playing Blu-ray and HD-DVD Movies and I hope Media information can be displayed in the imon VFD some time.

So I have a question for the software engineers at Soundgraph. Are you in contact with Arcsoft about this? Is this going to work in a future software release? (I already checked your Version Update topic, haven't found it there).

Or should I rather ask Arcsoft about this? Didn't really know who to contact about this first.

I bought this VFD basically for displaying Media information in this purpose and now I'm a bit disappointed.

Dear Xadabas,

Currently we’re not trying to contact with Arcsoft about this issue. But if TMT3 starts to send media information via Media Center, iMON can display media information.

And in next Beta version, iMON will display media information from XBMC, MPC-HC and media players using Winamp module like MediaMonkey, QMP and KMPlayer. And we’ll keep updating media information from other media players.

I'm using the latest 7.90xxx version of iMON Manager and have just bought TMT3 while it was on special offer. I've read page 21 of the iMON manual (which wasn't much help) but eventually figured out how to make my RM200 (Antec Veris) remote work with this Arcsoft software. There is a problem however - clicking the channel up button should advance the media by a chapter but instead it retards it a chapter.
[Edit]I found this is only when run from Windows Media Centre, if run in standalone mode, TMT3 and the remote play together fine (so far anyway).

I'll get onto Arcsoft about the lack of media info in FrontView but if programs like WinAmp can support this and show progress etc, so should TMT3. Please try and work with them to get a resolution as this is a big disappointment. Please also fix the channel up making the HD DVD movie progress backward problem (I know I can customise it myself but I'd prefer a ready-made solution in the next version).

Thanks for your anticipated action!

I was hoping Soundgraph would come here and at least add this bug to their to-do list - or because it's only a problem in the Windows Media Centre version of TMT3 does that mean it's not iMONs fault. I'm unsure about this aspect so need some help please.

Dear Flying Kiwi,

Thanks for your report.
We’ll add “Channel Up/Down” issue to “To Do List (http://www.soundgraph.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45)” and it will be fixed in the future update. Please check it later.

I've installed the trial version of Arcsoft Total Media Theatre 5 and although it behaves much more like the Windows 7 Media Centre DVD Player when playing DVDs (and has the same progress bar), there's STILL no information displayed on FrontView when I play media with TMT5. It seems Arcsoft have appeared to do their bit to make TMT5 more like Windows 7 Media Centres playback capabilities so why is there still no Frontview support for it?

Just so Soundgraph doesn't think I'm being unfair, I'll ask Arcsoft the same question but you folks really need to get together to improve compatibility for the benifit of all. Oh and any update about the channel up/down problem referred to above please Soundgraph - I've not found it in the to do list yet?

[Edit] Another point I've discovered is that many of the RM200 Remote buttons that used to work OK with TMT 3, have stopped working with TMT 5 (even though FrontView will correctly display the button action in the little LCD). PLEASE get in touch with Arcsoft and come up with a solution to benifit all Soundgraph team.
