Hi,
I have an odd question. Is there a way to disable the iMon remote features, while keeping the VFD/Frontview working?

I have two awesome SilverStone cases in my Home Theatre Setup: an LC14M housing my back-end media server, and a ML02MX acting as my front-end machine.
Both these cases come with iMon PAD OEM kits, the LC14M with a VFD and the ML02MX with an LCD.

The problem I have is that when I use my iMON PAD remote to control my ML02MX front-end machine, the LC14M back-end machine picks up the commands as well. I can manually disable most of the iMON commands on the back-end machine, but the basics like the mouse commands are unable to be modified. Please help!

Dear smnc,

There's no way to do that with iMON Manager Software. You need to block the IR receiver module from IR signal physically.

Thanks a lot,

Dear smnc,

First of all, please check FW version in iMON Manager–Options-Version/Update.
If it is VFD HID OEM model and you want to disable mouse function, open Device Manager and disable “HID-compliant Mouse” with VID 15C2 and PID 0037.
Otherwise open the PC case and cover IR receiving element with something opaque.
It is placed beside VFD module on IMON VFD HW.

Thanks. Unfortunately it's an iMON VFD Retail.

However, with iMON 7.8xx I can now control multiple iMON hardware from one computer, so I've run the iMON VFD to the computer with the iMON LCD and I am controlling them both from there.

Many thanks!
