hello, I have a problem with the VFD on my antec veris elite, the text appears with Imon Manager, but the screen has high contrast (see image 2) and this whole time even with power off time. I try to adjust the contrast in the parameters of imon but nothing was done. and when I unplugged the imon alimentation and replug, the screen and good for 10-15 seconds (Fig. 1) and then gradually becomes black (Fig. 2).
The problem is that all the icons of the screen are illuminated (Fig. 2) contrast problem?

thank you for your help and good day

Unfortunately *all* Antec Veris products suffer exactly the same fault as you describe. None of the displays looks anything like their promotional pictures.

I have an Antec Fusion Max, my display looks identical to "Fig 1" above.

Despite nearly a year of asking for support or a solution from both Soundgraph and Antec, I have yet to see any helpful response from either company. There are many others asking the same question in different sections of this and many other forums (Hexus.net has a big section on the problem). None have yet recieved any helpful response.

Soundgraph blame Antec, Antec say they don't know what Soundgraph are talking about. Neither company appears prepared to talk to the other to help their customers.

The only solution appears to be to return the device for a refund.

Personally, I just removed the display and this improved the case no end.

No one, except possibly the blind, could suggest that these displays are in anyway acceptable or fit for purpose.

Indeed, for the support to be worse you would have to get up seriously early and practice!

I doubt I would ever buy Soundgraph or Antec products again in the future.

Fully agree with both of you!

I was quite surprised when I saw the product pictures on this website... guess they copied it from the Denon website or so... If you're not sitting straight in front of it, at eye height (where most people don't have the VFD, but their TV screen), you can't see anything of the useless info it is supposed to display
Anyway mine looks exactly like fig.1 - at night, with the HTPC turned off, it illuminates the whole living room.
Unfortunately this crap came with a Zalman HD503!

I'll try to unplug it permanently
