View Full Version : Reset everything to default settings

I've got many problems with iMon on Windows 7 x64 using an MCE remote and Windows Media Center - but I think with all my tinkering, I need to revert back to the default settings.

Currently the screen is on, but no Media Center info is displayed and some IR commands are ignored intermittently (which I believe there's a fix on the way).

My question here is, is there a way to set everything back to defaults?

I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but the settings stayed.

Thanks

Dear chrismcb,

The setting values of iMON are stored in the following places;
1. Setting Folder
a) XP:
"C:\Documents and Settings\Logon Name\Application Data\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON"
b) Vista and Windows7:
"C:\User\Logon Name\AppData\Roaming\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON"
(By default this folder is hidden. If you can't see this folder, select "Show Hidden files and folders'" in Explorer's Tools > Folder options > 'View' Tab > Advance Settings.)
2. Setting Registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SOUNDGRAPH\iMON

After uninstalling iMON, delete the folder and registry above. And then install iMON again. Then all parameters and setting values will back to default.

Thanks a lot,

Great - thanks.

I'll do that when installing the Feb 2nd release.
