Antec Fusion Black Remote Control

I have a slight problem with the remote control of my recently purchased htpc (Antec Fusion Remote Black enclosure).

When using a remote control in a "mouse mode", when I press "right navigation button" on the remote, the mouse cursor moves MUCH slower then pressing up/left/down buttons.
In iMedian HD software, clicking on the "right button" does not produce any response at all, and I have to switch to the keyboard to click "Enter" in order to navigate menus.

Is this software or a hardware issue and what should I do?

This kind of problem can occurs when;
1) The shaft inside the thumb button slants on one side.
2) The thumb button is not correctly inserted to the shaft.

You could try to scrub the thumb button with your finger for all directions. It can sort out 2) above. If the problem is not solved, your remote control has a problem like 1) above. And if in this case, you need to replace it into new one.
