Imon Front view Display Corrupt

Help Please...
My imon front view display is showing mixed icons and text.
Eg:
Most of my text and display has turned into the shape of square box symbols and the other half is broken up text.
I have uninstalled imon fully and done full system clean out and reinstalled to have the same problem over and over again?

Has anybody experienced this problem and found a solution?

Dear BOSS_OZZIE,

Did you try AC reset?
1. Turning off the PC
2. Disconnecting AC power cable from power supplier unit
3. Letting it disconnected over one minute
4. Connect AC power cable again and restart PC

If there's problem continue, please let us know the firmware version number. You could get this number at iMON Manager > Option > Version/Update page.

I as have faced a similar problem.
Sometimes the screen is filled with dust at connection USB of the device.
Power off and detachment(!) of a power-cable of the computer helps only.
It is very inconvenient.

The option of initialization of the VFD as is necessary at power giving.
Probably, soft-reset of the display with clearing of its memory is needed...

I use the VFD in GMC-K1 case, Windows XP SP3 and last version of iMON.

Dear AutopilotNN,

If your VFD shows dummy data frequently, please check the pin connection of VFD module. VFD module inside the case is mounted through pin connection to PCB board. If the connection is not tight, it can make this kind of problem. Please check it.
