This is actually a composite of 2 problems.
I recently got the iMON receiver to use with my MCE remote and installed the software. There were 2 things missing though:
- When you press MUTE, it doesn't actually mute the volume, but instead slowly decreases it down to 0 (in the Windows shell). In MCE, however, it wouldn't even keep the volume at 0 but would immediately turn it back up.
- My MCE remote has an ASPECT button (the equivalent of going to More Info>Zoom in MCE), but the iMON manager doesn't have this button listed in the button drop-down to assign it (it's not already in the iMON MCE profile/settings).
I upgraded to the newest version of iMON after someone said that the newer version supports the Zoom button, but the newest version actually wouldn't sense the remote at all. So I decided to focus on fixing the MUTE issue by stepping back through previous iMON versions until I found that Ver.7.00.1112 Beta actually does the muting right.
So my issue now is that even though I found a version that gets MUTE to work properly, I still have no way of assigning an action to the ASPECT button. Is there a way to add the ASPECT button somehow to the list of possible buttons? Or is there a version of iMON that includes this new button *AND* handles MUTE correctly?
(If I can add the ASPECT button by just changing a file, that'd be ideal, since it took 4 versions to get the MUTE working)
