Remote not fully working?

I cannot get my imon remote to control windows volume. The display on by thermaltake Bach case indicates system sound increasing/decreasing using the remote but it has no physical effect?

I’m running Imon 7.8.1224 and Win 7 X64 v 6.1 (Build 7600). Any ideas how this can be resolved please?

Dear the artful dodger,

First of all, please check if you select the correct output device in iMON Manager>Option>System.

If it still happens, please let me know what kind of soundcard you have. And if your current account is not Administrator, please try with Administrator account.
