Front screen random symbols and gibberish

My Thermaltake Medialab branded Imon has recently been showing all kinds of random letters, symbols. It seems to be in rotation of messages but is definitely not any language.
The pc is running Win 7 RC and Ubuntu 9.04 in a dual boot setup. It was working in this setup when I built the pc. I'm not the primary user so I don't know when the issue really appeared. I've tried uninstalling original software and any updates and started over from the install cd then downloaded more recent versions of software hoping this would correct the issue. So far no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you try AC reset? Turning off the PC and then disconnecting AC power cable from power supplier unit. Letting it disconnected over one minute, connect AC power cable again and restart.
