Dear all,

We would like to get help from our users in translating iMON Manager and iMEDIAN HD Software to their own language.
We will apply the new translation in our future releases. Your help in this regard is highly appreciated.

Excel file has three work sheets iMON Manager, iMEDIAN HD and Others.
Words that need translated are high-lighted in yellow color.
When you translate it, please high-light the words you modified in red color.

In order to avoid from confusing the version of string table, we set up the naming format of language filename.

iMON_iMEDIAN_Lang_AAA_YYMMDD(BBB)_yymmdd(CCC)_APPZ ZZZZZZ.xls

AAA: Language, 3 characters (for example, RUM)
BBB: Editor name (new edition), 2 or more characters (for example, John)
CCC: Editor name (origianl edition), 2 or more characters (for example, John)
YY: Year of new edition, 2 numeric character
MM: Month of new edition, 2 numeric character
DD: Day of new edition, 2 numeric character
yy: Year of original edition, 2 numeric character
mm: Month of original edition, 2 numeric character
dd: Day of original edition, 2 numeric character
APPZZZZZZZ: This filed will be shown, if the translation file was applied to iMON/iMEDIAN HD Software.
ZZZZZZZ means the version number of Software. (If it was applied to ver.7.63.0831 of iMON/iMEDIAN HD, it will be 7630831.)

For example, iMON_iMEDIAN_Lang_ROM_090714(John)_090707(SG)_APP7 630831.xls means that this file was edited by John in July 14, 2009 from the original edition which was edited by SG in July 7, 2009. And this translation was applied to the version 7.63.0831 of iMON/iMEDIAN HD Software. If you modify the translation table from this file, you will name it as iMON_iMEDIAN_Lang_ROM_090915(YourName)_090714(John ).xls

Language files with respect to the naming format;

1) iMON_iMEDIAN_Lang_ROM_SG090707.xls
The language file was applied to version 7.60.0521.

2) iMON_iMEDIAN_Lang_ROM_SG090707_APP7600521.xls
The language file added by SoundGraph based on iMON_iMEDIAN_Lang_ROM_SG090707.xls

If you would like to modify the translation, please use the last one.

Regards,
iMON

1. Shall we use diacritics?
2. There was a problem with Romanian diacritics in Windows XP or later versions.
Here is some info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keyboard_layout#Romanian_.28in_Romania_and_Moldova .29. Wich of them should I use?
I'll get to work as soon as I'll get an answer on this!

Dear copilus,

I think if your translation is displayed well in excel file, it can be done in iMON and iMEDIAN HD.
Actually we make language data files with excel file and it uses Unicode character.

Currently iMEDIAN HD supports Unicode character but iMON doesn’t support yet.
iMON Unicode issue is already added to our “To Do List”. Please check it out.
It will be implemented in the future update.

However if the default language of your system is Romanian, iMON may display your translation well.

Regards,
iMON
