Hi all!

I am having a small problem with iMedian HD, when i first started using the imedian HD to play music there would be a spectrum analyser on my VFD display (where the bars go up and down) which i must admit looks really cool but now it does not seem to work? When i play a track it just displays the artist/album information.
Does anyone know how i can get the spectrum display working again?
Much appreciated,
Thanks!

I am german user. In other languages, i am thinging, the menu is not the same.

You must disable the option "iMEDIAN HD" in iMON Manager_Frontview_Mediainfo_possible Players

Thanks i did try that and still not working. I made sure the box was ticked under imon manager-options-frontview-Auto but still no luck. I also adjusted the setting where the equalizer will trigger at a certain volume but all it displays is the track name/artist.

Hi there,

I'm not sure if this will help as it is a little odd, but it might get you started.
I'm using onboard sound (SoundMax) and for some reason the line out I
select is far too high.

I sometimes have to reduce the slider almost to the bottom until the EQ
kicks in again, then I can adjust it until it seems reasonable.

I have a mixture of media types including DTS Audio (which is generally a
lot quieter) and if I alter for that, it becomes too sensitive on the next mp3
playback and I get the symptoms you describe.

Finally, here's the standard "have you tried turning it off and on again help" :P

1/ Check 'Sounds and audio Devices" Control panel and double check default record device
2/ Try playing an mp3 and recording it with windows sound recorder. (Does the new recording distort?)
3/ (In IMON Manager) Reduce the sliders and click "Auto Scan" again.

Hope that helps

James.

That was not the button i was meaned.

It is the option, where you can tell the display that only this Software send Mediainfos. For example: MediaPlayer Winamp or also iMEDIAN

perhaps my screenshoot can help you to find the right button

Hi
Thanks for your help but i have solved the problem.
I went to iMon Manager - iMon Utilities - Frontview - Equalizer and ticked box that says "use iMedian internal EQ".
I did not realise my solution was so simple!
Thanks all.
