Bad Playback

I just updated to the newest version of Imon, and now while I am playing a DVD , it's very choppy on play back !! The old ver. 7.20.0502 play's great !! I uninstalled the old ver. first , then installed the update ! I've reverted back to the old ver. until I get an answer !! HELP PLS. !!!!:(

Until the ver. 7.40, the system default decoders are used as the default value of audio/video decoder for DVD playback, while iMEDIAN HD internal decoder used from ver. 7.60

Maybe the internal decoder makes the problem with DVD playback on your system environment. You could change the codec settings referring the explanation in the FAQ. (http://htpcinside.com/forums/faq.php?faq=sg_sw_imedianhd#faq_sg_faq_sw_imedianh d_codec)

Anyway, in order to sort out the bug with this problem with iMEDIAN HD internal decoder, could you let us know more in detail?
1) Which kind of choppy playback occurs? Choppy both on audio/video? Only Audio or only video?
2) Which kind of VGA card you are using? The VGA chip-set and model name.
