RM100 and false commands

Hello,


I am new owner of Antec Fusion Remote 350, which comes with iMON Mini remote control. I am using primary Media Portal, but all these problems comes also in iMEDIAN HD - it is the same.

1. problem:
Sometimes when I press button, iMON manager does not send key code, I have pressed, but moves with mouse control instead in any direction. I have no mouse connected to PC and iMON MINI should not have any support for simulating mouse, so why mouse is moving?

2. problem:
Sometimes when I press button and release it, iMON think, that I am pressing this button all time and sends repeatly codes to target app. It stops only after pressing same key again.


Can I enable some debug log in iMON, which can help in finding problem?

My versions:
Manager 7.62.0630 (ANTEC)

iMON Firmware ver 0x380102

There seems to be bad IR receiving occurs.

Both iMON PAD remote controller and iMON MINI remote controller have same IR code structure. And iMON PAD remote controller supports mouse movement with thumb PAD button on remote. When there's something interference when receiving the IR signal from iMON MINI, there can be a detecting IR signal problem and it can make mouse cursor movement.

And iMON Manager simulates the Key Down when the IR signal of press down of button is coming and the Key Up when the IR signal of release up of button is coming. Even though you press and release button, if there's something interference when receiving the IR signal of release up of the button, the Key Up may not be generated and it make that kind of problem.

From both problem you faced, there seems to be bad IR receiving condition.
Please check there's no interference between IR receiver module and remote controller in your usage environment.
