Good news, MPC-HC + FFShow support DTS-HD True HD bitstream audio oupt already.

And iMEDIAN is based on MPC-HC, I want to know when iMEDIAN can support DTS-HD True HD bitstream audio oupt?

Dear zlps566a,

I'm sorry to make reply too lately. Meantime, I've been participate in developing our new product and I could not take enough time in this Forum. I apologize it.

We also heard the information that ffdshow starts support the dts-hd and true hd bit-stream output as you said. However, we could not check it works or not yet. If it work, we'll add this feature to iMEDIAN HD of course. After add to this feature to our To Do List, we'll check the possibility and target.

ok .HD 5450 was published on Feb 4th, so I will buy one piece to check whether iMEDIAN HD can support DTS HD and True HD or not, if I configure latest version ffshow plugin as iMEDIAN HD sound filter.

Good news, I buy a HD 5450 graphic card this afternoon, and send true hd & dts hd bitstream to my yamaha v663 amp successfully!

It is so easy that I only install the latest version of FFShow, and in iMEDIAN HD I set dts / ac3 and lpcm filter as FFShow sounder filter, ok, done!

Only problem is that when play true hd and dts hd vidoe, the EQ in the front view is not working, I think the reason is that there is no configure item about true hd and dts hd (only dts and ac3) in iMEDIAN HD.

Hope developer can fix this bug in the next version, ^_^

Dear zlps566a,

Thanks for reporting the result of true hd & dts hd bitstream using HD 5450. The graphical EQ can be seen only when using internal audio decoder. We need to check the internal decoder can support true hd and dts hd passthrough can be possible. We'll add it to our To Do List.
