Hi,

Yesterday i saw that there was released a compatible version of iMon with win7.
So i thought of giving it a chance...
After Installing all seemed ok, but once i tried to open a folder in explorer, my system froze and all i could do was pressing the off button 10 sec's. First i thought it was coincidence, but every time i restarted and opened a random folder on one of my 3 HDD's, it froze again.
Then after many tries and restarts i closed iMon manager before trying to open something and all went smooth...
Then i restarted iMon and tried to open a folder, again it froze...

So i'm sure i can conclude that when iMon is running, my system freezes every time i want to open a file/folder

system specs:

ASUS P5Q
E8600 3,2 GHz
4 GB Kingston Dual Channel RAM 1066 MHz
9600GT
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Zalman HD 160 Plus
Logitech DiNovo Edge

All works flawless, to the point when i install iMon...

Dear bsensed,

We are sorry to reply lately. In order to support efficient technical support, developers directly answer to the users' question and there can be something delay in reply. we are trying to answer within 1 week at least. Please deeply understand it.

Anyway, this problem is strange and reported for the first time. Please check the following things;
1. Does this problem occur always when opening Windows Explore?
2. If USB cable of iMON receiver is disconnected, the same problem occur?

Thanks a lot,
slash.kim

@slash.kim

1. yes, when iMon is active, i can't open any file or folder in explorer.
2. USB cable for iMon receiver? I just have a remote control and a build in IR receiver in my case. I just use iMon so the display on my case goes out when pc is out and on when pc is on. That's all i want iMon to do.
For all my other HTPC needs i have Windows 7 + WMP12 + Logitech Dinovo Edge

thanks in advance...

Dear bsensed,

I’m sorry for my late reply.

Did you add folders in 3HDD to “Scan Folder” in iMEDIAN HD? Currently iMON is monitoring the change of “Scan Folder”. I think it may be related with Explorer function. But most of users don’t have Explorer problem.

If you added Scan Folder, please check again after deleting “Scan Folder” in iMEDIAN HD and let me know the result.

Regards,
Johnny Hur
