iMedian 7.78 doesn't work

when I install iMedian 7.78 ver I have a problem - iMedian doesn't start - I can see the program in manager, I can't see program in Windows BAR. With 7.77 ver i haven't any problem.

I’m sorry for your inconvenience. I think the current version of iMEDIAN HD fails to initialize in your system. It seems that it doesn’t happen on all systems.

Please try again after disabling Intro flash as follows.
1. Open “config.xml” file with notepad in “C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\SOUNDGRAPH\iMEDIAN HD” folder. If you’re using Windows Vista or Windows 7, the folder is C:\Users\Username\Appdata\Roaming\ SOUNDGRAPH\iMEDIAN HD”. And as this folder is hidden folder, you should check “Show hidden files and folders” in Explorer’s Folder Option.
2. Find “IntroEnding” tag under “General” > “UserInterface” tag.
3. Change <IntroEnding> 0 </IntroEnding> to <IntroEnding> 1 </IntroEnding>.
4. Save “config.xml” file.

After the check, please let me know the result and if you have installed any codec program before, let me know what kind program you installed. And if possible, try again after uninstalling codec program.

I think that the pre-installed system codec may conflict with iMEDIAN HD.
If you installed some codec program and use iMEDIAN HD as a default media player, please try again after removing the pre-installed system codec and let me know the result.

We tested iMEDIAN HD with K-Lite codec. iMEDIAN HD startup problem didn’t happen but when closing, it popped up error message. It was related with Video for Window codec that installed with K-Lite codec. We fixed the conflict with Video for Window codec and Audio Renderer issue.

Please check with the linked file and let me know if it still happens. Extract zip file and overwrite it in iMEDIAN HD folder. (Normally “C:\Program Files\SOUNDGRAPH\iMEDIAN HD”)

I have another problem. With last patch I can't play mp3 files.... When I deleted all added files and restored older one mp3 files works fine

Hi to all. I've the same problem reported by tombalt. The iMeddianHD.exe appears in the task manager, but it soesn't appear. I've tried applying the patch or using the 7.80 Beta, but I've always the same result. I had the K-Lite codec, I've removed them and reinstalled the software, but nothing has changed.

I've no other codec installed as package.
I've Cyberlink PowerDVD (supplied with the DVD reader) and VLC 1.0.3

How can I verify the codec and the version that I've on my PC? Does an utility to verify them exist? I'm asking in order to give you a complete picture of my configuration.
Does an error log file of iMedian exist? If yes, can I send you?

It's strange. Please copy and paste the filter list on your system. You could get the filter list on your system via the tool at this LINK (http://download.soundgraph.com/path/Test/DSFilters.zip). Unzip it then one .exe file will be shown. Run it and [Enum] and [Save] to txt file. You could read the result with normal text editor like notepad.

From the filter list, we could not find the possibility of conflict with iMEDIAN HD. There maybe something registry value remained after un-installation of codec pack makes something problem.

We modified related things in the iMEDIAN HD internal codec. We hope this will solve this annoying issue. Could you please check this modification work or not? If you could, please download zip file at the following link and then, unzip it and overwrite two files (iMEDIAN HD.exe and AdvMediaEngine.dll) to the iMEDIAN HD installation folder.
