Hello, would appreciate your help. Symptoms:
* power button on RM 200 (IMON Pad) remote control does work
* no other buttons on remote cause any response (either audible or visual)
* VFD display is working
My configuration:
* iMON/iMEDIAN HD Version 7.77.1022 plus recent Nov 27 update)
* Antec Fusion Remote Black case
* ASUS P5N7A-VM mobo
* Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400s
* Windows 7 Home Premium
Things I have tried:
* plugging VFD into different USB ports:
(system acknowledges device, and VFD display restarts)
* updated from iMON/iMEDIAN HD Version 7.60 to 7.477
Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Just a day after posting my problem, suddenly all the buttons on the IR remote starting working. Not exactly sure what caused the remote to start working.
The only changes I made to the system were:
* installed a Logitech Dinovo mouse + keyboard
* installed a Linksys WUSB600N WiFi adapter
Best I can tell my iMON software did not automatically update.
Strange.

Hallo,
i've the same problem with my Antec Fusion V2. Your imon works in the moment (till the next errror), because you switched your htpc off for a few seconds.

I also have the same problem after the upgrade. Everything was working okay prior to the upgrade. I have the silver Antec Fusion case, firmware 0xa0. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling an older version but VFD is still non-responsive. I have a Harmony 880 remote.
* no buttons on remote cause any response (either audible or visual)
* VFD display is working and gets garbled after awhile

Dear yahui168,
First of all, please try AC reset. (Disconnect AC power cable from your system and re-connect) And let me know if you’re using other remote in the room your system placed.

I've tried resetting the AC but no luck. I have no other remote in the room or house.

Dear yahui168,
Please try to connect other USB ports and check if “Do Not Process IR signal” option is checked.
And if the garbled text is still displayed even after AC reset, contact with ANTEC and request the replacement.

Be sure that the unit gets the appropiate power.
That means that the purple and red wire must have +5V in order to work.
The black one is for the ground.
I thought the red wire is the normal 5V when the power plug is connected, and the purple is the 5V when the computer is booting up. (it could be the other way arround)
If the red or the purple wire is not connected, then the remote or the display itself is not working.
The power button is working independent from this power.
This could mean that the power button seems to work while the rest of the remote is failing.
The above situation can happen if you want to try the case in combination with a separate PC.
In this case the power supply has not started properly and the remote do not get the right power.
I hope this will help some people to have some more understanding on how this works.
Good luck.

Dear Paul,
We use the red (+5V) and purple (standby +5V) line power supply together in order not just to supply the power to iMON board but also check the system power status as like S3, S4 and S5. In order to work correctly as power on and USB device, every data and power line should be connected well.
The connection itself is similar as like our retail product and you can find it from the following URL.

Thanks a lot...
