Hi,

I have the Silverstone ML02B-MXR with the iMon VFD display....Unfortunately I can not dim the display! There is no menu-point in the iMon software to dim the display. Can you show me a way to dim the display??? The display is too bright and it would be nice to add a dim-function in the next iMon software update!

Thx and greetings from germany!

Dear XL4723,

Did you try to adjust the Contrast in iMON Manager > iMON Utilities > FrontView page? Please check this contrast setting makes something difference or not first.

Thanks a lot,

Hello,

yes, I checked this settings first and the only difference is, that the written informations are brighter or darker but this settings don´t dim the display. The display has always the same brightness.
I hope you understand my problem....I look for a setting-option to dim the VFD like a LCD.

Thx

Hi,

I have the ML02 with VFD for one week now. Same issue with the Diplay. The backlight is too bright and cannot be dimmed. Contrast Setting only changes brightness of wirtten information.

I would appreciate a backlight brightnes setting.

Furthermore I cannot change the font for Time Information, when PC is off. The VFD has a default font where some numbers look very similar. Is there a way to change the font?

Thanks and best regards,

Ludwig

hi,

same thing here with a brandnew ML02MX chassis ... the display is much too bright, no way found to dim it.

i've found in the forum that the font cannot be changed, when system is shut-down, and clock is displayed. i call this a major problem, since the font is not readable, und time format should be configurable to 24hours mode (instead of AM/PM)

cheers,
thomas

Hi,

to the soundgraph admin: maybe you didn´t understand us....we don´t mean the written letters or information on the iMon Display, we mean the backlight! We need a function in your software to dim the backlight from the display!!

I hope now it´s clear what we mean......and you can work on a fix for the problem ;-)

thx

Dear iMon Tech Team,

The silence in this matter makes me think, its not possible to adjust the backlight's brightness from software.
Please let us know if we cannot count on the software updates to solve this.
If thats the case, Please offer for Sale an LCD "protector" film/foil, which could provide the SAME contrast/brightness as seen on the official product photos!!!!

Or at least publish a "hardware mod" to build a pot in the LCD panel, so the backlight would be adjustable.

Looking forward to Your answear,
Daniel
