Hello,

I'm using an Antec Fusion Remote case and have Windows 7 (32 bit) installed. Whenever I have the iMON software running and my PC resumes from standby, the whole system locks up. Not even the mouse can be moved and the time stops (remote control doesn't work either). Yet, if I closed iMON before going into standby, everything works fine.

Is this a common bug in the iMON software or is there anything I can do to solve this problem? By the way, I'm using iMON 7.77.

After I updated my DirectX drivers, my system froze after every resume from standby, regardless whether iMON was running or not. Maybe there were already some other software issues and it was just a coincidence that iMON caused a freeze to that time.

So, to make it short, I ditched Windows 7 and switched to my old Vista. Now, everything works fine.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Weird. Everything was working fine under Vista (64 bit) until I installed service pack 2 for Vista. From then on I kept getting blue screens when resuming from standby with iMON running. I tried a clean install of Vista (with service pack 1 already integrated), installed service pack 2, the newest Realtek ethernet driver, all online updates available and the newest Catalyst driver and I am still getting blue screens every time my PC resumes from standby. Service pack 2 and iMON don't seem to get along for me.

Dear aesn5,

Does it still happen only when iMON is running?
First of all, please try to connect to other USB port and update main board BIOS and USB driver.
And let me know FW version and what kind of main board you have.
You can check FW version in iMON Manager>Options>Version/Update.

Dear johnny.hur,

I solved the problem. When you mentioned the USB driver, I couldn't remember having noticed one getting installed (besides the generic one).

I have an AMD 785G main board (785GM-E51). The problem is that AMD offers a "Full Catalyst Software Suite" that doesn't contain several drivers (despite its name). One has to download and install their "South Bridge Driver" and "AHCI Driver" (or "RAID Driver") as well as they are not integrated into their supposedly "full" driver bundle.

So, the real problem was that the USB driver was missing the whole time.

Thanks for the help!

Edit: I forgot to mention that the (even outdated) driver that is offered on the MSI homepage doesn't include these drivers either.
