Hi all,

my first post on this forum.

just installed WinXP SP3 x86 with the latest iMON & iMEDIAN HD software, version 7.70 I believe.

I have a quick question.

when will ISO mouting be supported from iMEDIAN HD?

I have a NAS with about 1000 ISO movies stored in it. And on my previous ZIOVA networked DVD player I could just browse trough the network and click on an ISO and the movie started.
now with daemon tools installed or Virtual Clone Drive it just doesn't work.

Is there a trick or a work around available? without going back to the Windows OS and mouting the ISO manually? :o

I really hope this is on the top of the feature request list ;)

thanx in advance.

Dear thesims,

We already checked this feature can be gotten in iMEDIAN HD. However, we concluded it is difficult to support this feature in near future, because it's somewhat different area compare to the one in which we have been developing.

If we have more development resource or good partner with this feature, we'll add it to our To Do List.

Thanks a lot,

Can I suggest something?
Why dont U make something like command line for mounting ISO (etc)? Just add 1 item - Mount virtual drives as
Drive letter (let user choose it) for example K:
Program to mount drive with parameters (let user choose program and add parameters as need). Something like c:\deamontools\daemon.exe %1
So when in iMedianHD user click on iso (or other drive image) u will shellexecute program with parameter and after it successfull executed open VirtualDrive K: (it already had mounted ISO file).

What U think about it? It more flexibly than embedded support and doesnt need more support or developing. Just shellexecute and all happy ^^.

If U with I can write some code on delphi which will work with deamon tools mounting system. And U'll include it in next release.

I totally agree.
there are a numerious amount of free tools available on the internet, daemon-tools, virtual clone drive which can be used for this purpose.
media-portal also has this feature build in with daemon-tools.

I hope this will be added to the future release...
thanx
