1. i actually enjoy how it plays video but that is where my love with it ends.
2. i can't access music files on my external drive, and yes i read here and on google.. seems to be kinda retarded.
3. i cant creat playlist at all
4. even if my files were in another folder on the C drive I cant figure out how to use it.

the settings shouldn't be done with the remote control, they should be in the "manager" area of the software... seems to make logical sense to have what every other media program has.. This would most likely alleviate TONS of complaints which from what I see is most all the talk about this software.

the remote system portion of the software should just be used to access the files. It seems imedian is really following how the PS3 and Xbox systems have media access setup which is counter-intuitive since this software is for computers which have a mouse and keyboard. Setup would be much easier using these input devices rather than remote control.

Wishlist:
1. ability to launch multiple programs on the remote. For example since I cant figure out the music selection i use Winamp to play music and to watch playlist of tv shows and videos I like. However, if I want to watch a movie I use imedian. Its annoying having to go to the software and switch the launch function each time.

2. support for external drives.

3. 'channel' creation which would flip between playlist files playing a random video/song on the change to a new 'channel'.

Many users feel it is difficult to setup iMEDIAN HD when they use it for the first time. However, many users feel it is not so difficult after using some periods. Anyway, we need to make it easier and easier to use as you said. We always focus mainly on the easy use of remote control UI when we design the UI of iMEDIAN software.

The 'App. launcher' button can be used for launch other programs. Or you could use Windows shortcut hot-key feature. Make shortcut for a program with hot-key in the property windows of the shortcut. And assign the hot-key to one button like 'My Music' in Custom command in iMON Manager. Then you could launch the program by one click button.

2. support for external drives.
Do you mean other feature than the 'external media' menu?

3. 'channel' creation which would flip between playlist files playing a random video/song on the change to a new 'channel'.
Please let us know more in detail for this feature.

Thanks a lot,

i figured out that if i press and hold the "Go" button i can open a different app.

my problem with the external drive is that i cant set it as a drive to find media on and add it to the system. I even tried setting up shortcuts in the folder that the program uses as the default for video and audio media. and that didnt work.

i just want to be able to make playlist to watch my videos and listen to my audio. Winamp has a great feature where it shuffles media in a playlist. When i do that with my video media its almost like im watching tv since the media is just random.
