EQ on front when in Windows Media Center.

hello everyone,

First post here, I just started with this iMon application alongside with my OrigenAE S10V Case. I'm currently using the VF310 from them and I'm using the latest software revision from Soundgraph for their iMedian and Windows Media Center (WMC) support. I was able to try it out in Windows 7 64bit, and I must say the VFD is amazing, tons of information and very well planned out.

One thing I noticed is that the EQ is available when listening to music in iMedianHD, however not available in WMC, is there anyway currently that this can be changed or at least something that can be available in the next software revision. The EQ idea is very catchy, however I'm interested in using WMC for other reasons. with the distance I'll be away from the case, the song info really isn't needed. I personally think the EQ option would have a nice style to the case.

Dear Matt,

In order to display EQ, iMON needs PCM data that can be transformed to EQ data.
When iMEDIAN HD plays media file, iMON can receive data from iMEDIAN HD.
And when Media Center plays media file, iMON should record system sound for PCM data.

Please check if soundcard device is selected to sound output device in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Graphic Equalizer tab.

Thanks for the response, but i don't think you either understand the situation, or I dont understand your response.

I'm testing this issue out with one MP3 file (seeing as all the songs in my library will be MP3's) I'm loading this song in iMedian and I'm able to see the front VFD change to the Equalizer when the song is playing. However when I load the exact same song in Windows Media Center, the VFD changes to the song info scrolling, and the time of the song.

My question is, if there is a way to show the EQ in Windows Media Center instead of the song info?

Dear Matt,

Because iMEDIAN HD is also developed by SoundGraph, we can handle PCM data without recording.
But in order to display EQ when Media Center is running, iMON should record system sound and get PCM data.

Please check if soundcard device is selected to sound output device in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Graphic Equalizer tab.
If the problem continues, please capture Graphic Equalizer page in iMON Manager and send it to me.
