Why the information about "Media information of the different players will be supported" from the To Do list was gone?
---
In the thread here (http://www.soundgraph.com/forums/showpost.php?p=603&postcount=2) (answer №9):
In particular very much it would be desirable that the Media Player Classic or MPC-HC was supported.
Thanks.

Dear Zinger,

Media Information feature is little complicated.
In order to support other players, the players should have the feature that the external application can receive the media information.
And most of players don’t have this kind of feature.
But we’ll keep trying to check this feature of other players.

...the players should have the feature that the external application can receive the media information.
For example the MPC-HC (Media Player Classic Home Cinema) has function to send "Now Playing" information to mIRC and MSN Messenger.

Dear Zinger,

Thanks for your information.
We’ll check if it is possible to use media information from MPC-HC.
If iMON can use this information, we’ll add this issue to our “To Do List”.

MPC-HC Media Information not display.
7.85.0222 was updated to 7.86.0414 Beta.
Tested in win seven x64, mpc-hc x64 (1.3.1788).
Media Information in FrontView is checked.
Listen on port 13579 in mpc-hc options is checked.
During the test firewall/hips was disabled.
May require additional settings in soundgraph application or mpc-hc?

Dear Zinger,

Currently Media Info display option for MPC-HC is always enabled. In next update this option will be added including selecting port.

Please check if FrontView mode is set to “Auto Mode” or “Media Information”. You can change it in FrontView window and pop up FrontView window by running “App. Launcher” and selecting “FrontView” with the remote or right-click iMON tray icon and or clicking “iMON Utilities>FrontView”.

Dear Zinger,

When MPC-HC is launched, does iMON start to display “MPC-HC [Stop]”?
Please let me know what is displayed at the following url.
http://localhost:13579/status.html
Otherwise, let me know OS. And check if MPC-HC is added in iMON Manager>Settings>Program Command. If not, check again after resetting remote mapping with clicking “Reset” button in iMON Manager>Settings>Remote Controller.

Dear Zinger,

I’m sorry for your inconvenience and appreciate your support.

I checked that MPC-HC information doesn’t work properly in Windows 7 (x64) and MPC-HC is not automatically scanned when resetting the remote mapping.

In next Beta version, we’ll fix these bugs (Program scan and Media information). And it will be applied to MPC-HC (x64). Please wait for while.

In version 7.89.0622 this problem is not solved, it should be? Nothing reaction when running mpc-hc64.

Dear Zinger,

With 7.87.0524 Beta version, some users have reported a problem about MPC-HC information. But I think it comes from server setting issue and they said VFD/LCD always displays “MPC-HC [Stop]”. In your case, VFD/LCD doesn’t display even “MPC-HC [Stop]”.

If VFD mode is “Auto Mode” or “Media Information” and mpc-hc64.exe is launched, it starts to display “MPC-HC [Stop]”. Please check VFD mode again and media info option in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Media Information"

Dear Zinger,

I checked this issue again. It seems that sometimes the creation of 64 bit process is not detected properly. Please try to enable and add apps in “Turn off During Selected Apps running” option in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Common or “Keyboard Arrow Mode During Selected Apps running” option in iMON Manager>iMON Utilities>FrontView>Common. These options are related with the detection of 64 bit process creation.
We’ll add this issue to “To Do List (http://www.soundgraph.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45)” and it will be fixed in the future update.

Johnny Hur

Dear Zinger,

Thanks for your report.
If VFD/LCD always displays “MPC-HC [Stop]” when mpc-hc64 is playing, it may be related server setting. In XBMC removing the default username and password from the network preferences solved this kind of problem. Please check this kind of password option and Port option in mpc-hc’s options. If the problem continues, let me know MPC-HC version.
