MediaMonkey Support / API

I wanted to put in a request for support for MediaMonkey track information display via the VFD. MediaMonkey is based off off WinAmp, so I would think the connections for grabbing media information should be quite similar.

On another note, I noticed that you were looking at creating an API for the VFD. Is there any way to get on a list to be notified when that happens?

Dear migtyflea,

If MediaMonkey is supporting media information feature like Winamp, iMON may support it.
We’ll check it and if it is possible, we’ll add it to our “To Do List”.

(2) [New Feature] API for FrontView will be supported
Currently the schedule for this feature is not fixed.
If we made the time plan for it, we’ll revise our “To Do List”.

I second this, would really like the frontview graphical EQ to support Mediamonkey aswell. Now its just Winamp and Microsoft media player/media center i believe.

Couldn't it be linked to a output filter or something for wider support of media players?

Apart from this i am really loving your products, keep up the good work!

Dear drag,

For the graphical EQ, you could see it with the option 'All system sounds' in iMON Manager > Utilities > FrontView > [Graphic Equalizer] page.
