View Full Version : Can't Re-launch From Remote

When I quit out of iMedian and then later try to re-launch the application via my media remote the program will not launch. After a bit of experimenting I have concluded this is due to the iMedianHD.exe process persisting after exiting the program via my media remote. It will open right up all day long if that particular process isn't running. Is there a way to get iMedian to fully cease all processes from my remote or launching from my remote despite the background process running?

Dear Grundle20,
I think that when you close iMEDIAN HD, it isn’t closed completely.
If you run “Task Manager”, you may check “iMEDIAN HD.exe” is running and manually kill “iMEDIAN HD.exe”.
In order to solve this problem, we need more information.
Please let me know followings.
Does it happen even if you close iMEDIAN HD without playing any media file?
Does it happen if you close iMEDIAN HD after playing music file?
Does it happen if you close iMEDIAN HD after playing video file?

This problem is happening on my system too. I'll post more info when I next have a play.

I'm aware of how to manually end the process ;)
It happens whether or not I actually play any sort of file. In my testing I tried just opening and closing the program with no change to the innability to re-launch it.

Dear All,
I think that the pre-installed system codec may conflict with iMEDIAN HD.
If you installed some codec program and use iMEDIAN HD as a default media player, please try again after removing the pre-installed system codec.
And we’ll add the feature that when launching iMEDIAN HD with the remote, iMON kills iMEDIAN HD that not closed completely.
