Hi there,

Firstly, I'd like to say a big thanks for supporting Media Portal. You Rock! :D

Now, I have a refresh problem using the old methods and I'm wondering
if it is one of the issues being looked at.
I have a regular delay of 4 to 5 seconds before the front panel is refreshed.
It doesn't matter if it's the time, media info or graphic equalizer.

I've been reading pages and pages in forums, but haven't seen this mentioned.
Does it occur everywhere and so is assumed, or do I have a specific bug?

Some info:
Media Portal: 1.0.2
iMON F/W: 0x380208
LCD HID OEM

iMON Manager 7.60.0521 (same with 7.20.0502)

Well going back through the MP forums, I have found this issue confirmed for EQ at least.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess they haven't noticed the 'Play Time/Time Remaining' is
also affected. The poster didn't quote Firmware but is using an Antec Fusion case (as am I).

what MediaPortal support???????????????????????? i just got an imon integrated with my new case yesterday, spent all day, night and today trying to get the stupid thing working with media portal, eventually i got the VFD working, now my remote doesn't work at all in anything and neither does my display which just shows garbage 100% of the time.

Seriously if i had known support was this crap for MediaPortal i would have avoided this like the plague and got something with decent support, its rubbish and useless for my needs and media portal is the perfect choice for me, not interested in the alternatives.

At least the joke is on me and none of it works with my new case anymore, just have to see if i can mod this silverstone to remove the vfd and reciever

What a total POS, with Mediaportal either the IR works OR the display works. Once one goes off you need to reboot to enable again, lmao.

This product is complete rubbish, seems the only ones buying this product are those of us that are clueless as reading around it the worst product in its category

you need to install the MP 1.1.0 alpha.

Now, does your LCD refresh correctly inside MP (When it is working) or is there a 4-5 second delay between
updates?

Thanks for the info, +1 to Soundgraph for that also. Ill try and get back to you on the delay
