FingerUI is designed for FingerVU and it makes FingerVU more useful and convenient.

FingerUI is Touch Interface for FingerVU which can play media as like Music, Video, Photos and YouTube. It can provide useful widgets as like World Weather, Time, RSS and Touch browsers.

FingerUI touch control is not just pressing the buttons on the screen. You can touch and drag to scroll the list, jump to Next/Previous page and drag Touch Wheel in clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust volume.

Run Your Favorite Media and Widgets in Main Menu Instantly.

FingerUI allows every media files and Widgets can freely be added to the Main menu.

In case of FingerVU 895S and 706, Main menu can be expanded up to 25 pages and media files and Widgets can be added up to 625 items. (In case of FingerVU 436, up to 16 pages and 256 items)

With FingerVU, user does not need to spend time looking for folder and file. But user can easily select and play the album or song which was added to Main menu. User can build personal media library by arranging media files and Widgets on different pages in Main menu.

Totally Easy and Convenient Interface

Easy and convenient new interface component will be found everywhere in FingerUI.

To play Next/Previous song, just drag finger to Up/Down. Drag finger to right from left, it will move to the previous list.

When adjusting the volume, controlling the playing time, changing the setting value, user can set the detail value by dragging finger according to the Wheel interface.

Media Frame & Widget Frame

FingerUI is the exclusive Touch Interface for FingerVU includes Media Frame feature of Music, Movie, Photo, YouTube and Widget Frame feature of World Weather, World News, News, RSS, Memo, System Information and more. SoundGraph has updated many useful modules according to the user requirements as like Touch Internet Browser, Virtual Keyboard, APP+, File+ and Desktop module.

Upgraded Multi Tasking

FingerUI 1.54.0617 version supports multi tasking. Two modules can be run simultaneously. You can memo on foreground running YouTube module on background. If user wants to change the module, just drag from right to left.

Video Switching between Main Monitor and FingerVU

FingerUI 1.54.0617 supports switching video playback between Main Monitor and FingerVU. The video running on the FingerVU can be moved to Main Monitor. This function can use at modules plays video as like YouTube and YouTube+ module. There are two ways to move video playback to main monitor. First, double click with other one finger touched the screen. Second, use the setting menu.

Select Favorite image as FingerUI Background

User can set back ground image of FingerUI from favorite pictures. At the picture module, user selects any image as a background image by just touching Set as Background icon.

Music Module

Music module of FingerVU can play every audio file formats in your PC. It supports the lossless audio format and you can listen to the same quality of audio CD using FingerUI Music module.

The graphical EQ will be shown at the center of Music module detail view. The album, artist, playing time and track number information will be shown at the Music module detail view.

As like other modules, any song or album can easily be added to Main menu. The background color of every module icon in Main menu can be changed using Edit menu.

Video Module

The video module of FingerUI can play every video formats. It supports the full HD file format of recent camcorders and user just select video files on the list view and then enjoy it.

The Wheel Interface which can control Volume and Playing Time can be run using the Setting menu on right down corner of detail view. Also the detail settings as like subtitle and zoom can be controlled using this Setting menu.

Photo Module

The photo module of FingerUI can show the photo on FingerVU and user can select the photo by touch. The photo will be shown nicely with frame effect in a slightly tilt image.

User can select the photos taken horizontally or vertically according to FingerVU pivot angle. If FingerVU pivot angle sets as vertically then user can select the vertical photos mode in order to fit to the vertical FingerVU display.

Photo Slide Module

With Photo Slide module, photo display will be shown as slide.

Photo slide will be paused when user touch the screen. User can select photo one by one using drag. Using the Photo Slide menu on Setting menu, photo slide will start again.

User can slide the photo, control the slide time and use shuffle using Setting menu.

Internet Browser Module

When user run Internet browser module, user can use it by finger touch.

The virtual keyboard pops up automatically when user needs an input. Especially, the keyboard can be run automatically with YouTube+, Google News+, URL+ module etc.

The virtual keyboard supports Korean, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional).

Multi browsing and some additional features will be available later by update.

URL+ Module

After type the URL by virtual keyboard, user can open any webpage by single touch. Add & remove webpage is very simple to use.

Web Cam / Camcorder Module

If user have a web cam connected to the system, user can use Web Cam and Camcorder module. Using Web Cam / Camcorder module, you can see the live view, take pictures, , record video and add memo on picture or video.

Desktop Module

You can use the FingerVU as a normal secondary monitor. You can add & run applications by touch and drag cursor control.

YouTube Module

Using YouTube module, user can watch online YouTube videos of more than 30 countries. It needs buffering time to download the video from the online.

The resolution option can be set as HD (high resolution), HQ (middle resolution) and NQ (low resolution) if the YouTube online video will have various resolutions. User can control the resolution using Setting menu.

Using 'Add' menu on Setting menu, you can select and add your country YouTube module to Main menu. You can add 'Most View', 'Popular' videos or your favorite YouTube video to Main menu as well.

YouTube+ (YouTube Search) Module

User can search for videos on YouTube by keyboard input the keyword. Search results will show the video lists and users can easily move the up or down by finger touch the screen. Users can add YouTube Search+ result mould on the Main menu, and check again easily at anytime.

Google News Module

Google News Module can read online news by news categories from more than 30 countries. If user selects one of the news title list, then you can see the news preview slide on FingerVU. User can make pause the news slide by touch and select the news preview one by one by finger touch as well. If user touches the new preview on FingerVU, then the webpage of news will be shown at main monitor.

Google News module is updated in every minutes and news preview will be slide automatically next of main monitor, you can open the news web page by finger touch when the news you want will be shown on FingerVU.

Google News+ (Google News Search) Module

Google News+ is like YouTube+, users can search by input the keywords and related results will come out as a list of news preview. If you want to read the details of preview news, you just click and the full article will be shown at the main monitor.

Users can add a module of Google News+ keywords research to Main menu and continuously check the updated news.

RSS Module

We added various online news sites to the Main menu which has RSS feed. These RSS modules could be added by RSS+ module and deleted by Edit menu

RSS+ Module

User can add RSS feed using RSS+ module by keyboard input of RSS feed title and address.

Memo Module

User can draw pictures, leave a memo, and searches memos on FingerVU. Also user can change the thickness, color of pen and background.

World Weather Module

User can check the weather of world major cities. The city on the list can be added or deleted. Select the country first and then the city on the list.

The World Weather module will slide one by one. If you touch screen to pause the slide, the detail forecast of one city will be slide automatically.

World Time Module

The time of world major cities can be checked. As like World Weather module, user can add or delete the city. Select the country first and then the city on the list.

The world city time module can be displayed as slides. Pause the slide by touch; user can see the time of one city continuously.

System Information Module

The major information of current PC system such as CPU, memory, hard disk, network usage can be shown as slide one by one.

Pause the slide by touch; user can see the slide of details of selected system information continuously.

Media View Module

Unlike other modules, Media View module automatically runs. When media players as like iMEDIAN HD, Media center, Winamp and iTunes runs, FingerVU screen turns to Media View automatically and it shows the media playback information.

When Media View runs, user can run the other module by finger touch.

Open API and Module Updates

SoundGraph reserves to announce on March, 2010 for API to make FingerUI module. Using this API, Individual and third party developers can easily make the module for FingerUI using the major controls in FingerUI. Every module will be updated periodically and continuously. The new updated module will have a ‘New’ mark and user can easily be noticed this updated new module.

How to Use the Touch Wheel

The most unique feature of FingerUI is to use Touch Wheel. When setting detail values as like volume, payback position, fonts and color, user can use Touch Wheel interface.

When you drag your finger according to the wheel in clockwise and counterclockwise, the setting value on the center of wheel will be changed. If user moves the rotary slider beside of wheel, the change ratio of wheel interface will be changed. In order to apply the changed value, please touch the center of wheel.

Add Icon to Main Menu

User can add any item on the current list or detail view to Main menu using ‘Add’ button on Setting menu.

User can play album or song directly on the Main menu after adding his favorite album or song to the Main menu.
