[Press Release] SoundGraph, Inc. launches a new concept HTPC series supporting iPhone… revealed at Computex 2011
SEOUL, KOREA – SoundGraph, Inc (CEO: DK Jung www.soundgraph.com) announced launch of new concept HTPC series supporting iPhone and iPad, which will be revealed at Computex Taipei 2011, on May 31.

Hummin’ 1.05 optimized to iPhone and Hummin’ 5.05 to iPad
The SoundGraph’s new product series introduced at Computex Taipei 2011 includes two products which can be distinguished depending on the size and extensibility. Hummin’ 1.05, which occupies less space, employs a Mini-ITX platform to reduce noise and heat generation, while providing high performance. Its simple and elegant mini-ITX chassis suits with any place in your home. Various media files stored in iPhone or iPad can be played through the dock for the Apple mobile devices.
It is the world’s first HTPC which connects a smartphone to HTPC, focusing on the playback of media in iPhone, iPod, and iPad and the ease of HTPC manipulation. The Hummin’ 1.05 can also be used as a speaker system without turning on the PC, thus it gives good energy efficiency as well. In addition, its dock can be used as a cradle for charging the Apple mobile device without need of USB cable.
Manipulation of the Hummin’ 1.05 becomes much easier with its own iPhone application which makes iPhone to be used as a mouse or a keyboard. The iPhone application for Hummin’ 1.05 based on user-friendly interface also provides playback and control of various media such as music, videos, and pictures. Moreover, its remote-control function as a virtual mouse or keyboard increases usability of iPhone especially when browsing the internet in the living room.

DK Jung, CEO of SoundGraph, Inc. said, “We have thought about a new product that generates synergy effect by combining iPhone and HTPC, considering the recent popularization of smartphone. The Hummin’ 1.05 is a new concept, hybrid HTPC that enhances the ease of home entertainment using iPhone, rather than that for simple playback of music or video.”
Hummin’ 1.05 introduces aluminum chassis to reduce noise and heat generation. Its DC power supply provides stable 120W power even enough for the 2nd generation Intel Core i7 processor, and intake and exhaust fans are placed inside the enclosure for efficient air-cooling. The Hummin’ 1.05 also has a storage bay where one 3.5” HDD or two 2.5” HDDs can be mounted and one 5.25” ODD bay for enjoying high quality media such as Blu-ray disc.
Hummin’ 5.05, having high extensibility and compatibility of platform with a ATX or a microATX mainboard, provides six 3.5” HDD bays, two 2.5” HDD bays, and one ODD bay for playback of full HD contents such as Blu-ray disc. Either the Hummin’ 1.05 or Hummin’ 5.05 can be purchased as a barebone kit including an Intel or an AMD mainboard, so that customers can build their own home theater PC with their preferred other components.
