We were pleased to join the Computex 2009 which was held at Taipei and the following is the online report

The SoundGraph booth at Computex 2009 was at M635, 4th floor of NanGang Hall. Computex is becoming more popular by number of visitor, after moving to the new NanGang Hall from TWTC.

SoundGraph makes independent booth for the first time at this Computex 2009. The interior concept of this booth is ‘Coffee Shop’ and we put the big table as like ‘bar’ in the middle of the booth in order to communicate more with buyers and end users. We used white and blue as major colors for the booth to get fresh theme and look.

We displayed not only iMON ODM/OEM and Retail products but also many new products we had been made during 1st half of this year and gotten great attentions and feedbacks from buyers and end users.

FingerVU

The FingerVU we are targeting to announce it in this 2nd half of this year is the USB Touch Monitor. Its specialty among the other subsidiary monitors is that it can be controlled by finger touch independently with the main system. So we can control the application on FingerVU separately with the application running on main monitor. So it can be used as like another system not just another monitor.

The main usage of FingerVU is multimedia file playback and widget feature. We are developing the new application, FingerUI for FingerVU product. FingerUI has various sub modules as like ‘music’, ‘video’, ‘picture’, ‘photo frame’, ‘Youtube’, ‘memo’, ‘Google news’, ‘world weather’ and ‘world time’. We will update the FingerUI and its sub modules continuously as like iMON/iMEDIAN HD. We are currently developing the 4.3” and 7.0” products and have a plan to develop many series products as like wireless model in the future.

SoundVU

We have been developed new concept speaker products as our new product lineup. The speaker product we are now making is not just simple speaker but the visual speaker with display. When we listen to music and watch video, the media playback information could be displayed through the front display. The audio input of the speaker is not analogue but digital audio signal through USB line so we can hear the lossless high quality audio. The prototype speakers we demonstrate at this Computex are SoundCube which has 2.2 channels and SoundBar which has 4.1 channels.

We designed SoundCube which can be used on the table. Normally, we put the woofer under the table but this way makes woofer sound is not clear. We designed the clear woofer sound for the pure audio sound. We put the OLED display we are now developing for iMON ODM/OEM market in front of the SoundCube. Using OLED display, the various media playback information could be shown as fast and beautiful. The sound balance between high frequency and low frequency is very well and suitable and enjoyable for listening music. Especially, when we use PC for listening the music, it will definitely bring you the high resolution and full performance of SoundCube when you use the lossless audio formats with iMEDIAN HD.

SoundBar is designed for the people who watch the movie and game by using PC. 4 channel front speakers and 10 inch unit woofer makes a makes a powerful sound for enjoying even at the living room. 4 channel front speakers have a virtual surround effects according to the option of movie playback or game playing.

In the middle of SoundBar, we put 4.3” FingerVU and it can show the media playback information and you can simply control the media files by finger touch. We have a plan to release the SoundVU products in the 1st half of next year after various field tests.

Hummin’ 3.0X

We showed the new concept of Hummin’. The serial number of the new Hummin’ models are 3.01, 3.02 and 3.03 according to its display. This new Hummin’ products are the HTPC cases using mini ITX mainboard which is the new trend of HTPC market. The special point of this new product is that we can open the front door and put DVD-ROM or HDD bay inside the door. We integrated OLED and FingerVU display to the front door. We will make the final prototype of this Hummin’ 3.0X model at the end of this year.
